In the age of accelerated progress in AI and its significant role in transforming human society, a core question is what kind of future holds for humans and machines? The stakes are high at this point in time. Many argue that we should stop the development of superintelligence without first understanding its safety implications. Others argue that we cannot miss this opportunity to use one of humankind’s greatest innovations to do good in this world.
